The last time I was in the Redwoods, Jacob was about 4 1/2 and Julian was about 1 1/2. We ate at the Samoa Cookhouse where all the lumberjacks used to eat. They serve the food family style and bring it straight to the table. Jacob ate 5 strawberry shortcakes last time. This time I think he only had 2 chocolate cakes!
It was sure fun to stop here again, especially with my parents.
Some how the topic came up that we were from the Wallace clan. Our server, which we do have a picture of her, was from Robert the Bruce's clan. You will see a picture of her with my dad! This reminded me of our visit to Edinburgh Castle. On each side of the entry way stands Robert the Bruce and William Wallace just like our new friend and my dad!
